Elizabeth Sulcer is a supermodel’s secret weapon. Gigi and Bella Hadid, Elsa Hosk, and Candice Swanepoel are among the many runway and red carpet regulars who rely on the celebrated stylist to catapult them to the top of best-dressed lists. But what does this fashion phenom who helped bring sexy back with looks that are equal parts fierce and feminine (think: Elsa Hosk in Cannes or Olivia Culpo on the streets of NYC) use to get herself ready for her own close-up?

Aside from frequenting Dogpound and SLT, Sulcer strengthens and lengthens at home with trainer Brenda Vongova in order to achieve crop-top worthy abs and legs that practically beg for a thigh-high slit. “I also walk a ton—my job and lifestyle require me to be very active,” says the New York-based pro who frequently sprints around the globe tending to her A-listers and fashion clients (her latest collab is a holiday capsule collection with Marc Fisher LTD). Sulcer’s one-year-old boy, however, might just be her best calorie burner: “I feel like my body really changed after having Stone and I don’t need to do quite as much since I’m always running around after him!”

I’m a creature of habit when it comes to the products I know and love. I really only change if someone I trust recommends something.

In addition to maintaining her fitness routine and “mostly paleo” diet while jet-setting between jobs, Sulcer remains firmly committed to her beauty regimen. “I’m a creature of habit when it comes to the products I know and love,” she says. “I really only change if someone I trust recommends something.” Enter VIOLET GREY, where every single item is vetted and approved by the Violet Code—via a world-class community of makeup artists, hairstylists, estheticians, dermatologists, and celebrity influencers who have seen and tried it all.

Here, we shake up this beauty loyalist’s rotation with a few formulas guaranteed to become instant favorites.

Sulcer frequently cites the Palmer Girls—an iconic quintet from the ’80s known for full-throttle smoky eyes and glossy red lips—as a fashion inspiration, but her own beauty aesthetic is decidedly more minimal. “I don’t wear much makeup or use a ton of product—I want my skin to breathe and stay fresh,” she says. To rev radiance minus any residue, Sulcer reaches for this featherweight serum packed with two types of skin-plumping hyaluronic acid for instant and long-term results.

“I would say my biggest concern are the fine lines on my forehead and neck,” explains Sulcer. Unlike injectables, powerful neuropeptides in this needle-free treatment help smooth wrinkles and tighten skin without freezing facial muscles. As an added bonus, this patented formula also erases evidence of late nights and early call times by brightening dark circles and age spots.

Already a must-have in the stylist’s daily lineup, this face cream uses groundbreaking stem cell technology to repair and renew skin. Rich in moisture and antioxidants, this breathable formula combats dryness and pollution whether Elizabeth is strutting the streets of Paris or posing poolside in Mykonos.

“After having a baby, I’ve been especially conscious of my skin in the sun and always protect my face with sunscreen or a hat,” says Sulcer. On the hunt for a formula that will block damaging rays without clogging pores, this non-toxic and oil-free SPF is always a people pleaser. A favorite among makeup artists, the silky texture can be used to prime and protect skin simultaneously.

“These eye masks are amazing,” says Sulcer who uses them to smooth, brighten, and depuff. “They aren’t technically tools, but I use them like they are.” Black diamond particles help powerhouse ingredients like retinol, hyaluronic acid, and niacinamide penetrate deeper into delicate skin, while the hydrogel material prevents these patches from slipping so she can mask and multitask.

“Clean beauty whenever possible is important to me,” explains Sulcer. This organic, oil-based makeup remover and cleanser will erase the day without any irritation. To supercharge the extra-gentle formula infused with nourishing rosehip extract and soothing essential oils, she can pair it with her favorite Foreo cleansing brush for an even deeper clean.

When a plunging neckline or French-cut bikini bottoms shine a spotlight on Sulcer’s skin below the neck, this aromatic blend of marula and grapeseed oils from South Africa will get her glowing. Plus, the fast-absorbing formula won’t leave limbs greasy, meaning she can apply and get dressed ASAP.

While the stylist maintains a “super healthy” and “clean” diet of veggies, meat, and seafood, she says vitamins and supplements give her a much-needed boost. Designed specifically for globetrotters, this TSA-friendly set comes with everything she could possibly need—immunity support, muscle relief, and more—to reset and revive her mind and body on the road.
