We have an obsession with cleansing. That soft, fresh skin feeling—it's what we know, and it's what we strive for–especially when removing makeup. We’ve even become accustomed to using multiple cleansers (and toners) to get the job done. Then, Tina Chen Craig, founder of U BEAUTY and always one to simplify things, decided she was finished with the traditional multi-phase regimen and set out to create something that eliminates the need for multiple products and made a singular comprehensive formula that does the whole job.

TESTED
Starting with dry skin, our testers massaged the luxe balm over the entire face, including directly onto the eyelids. The formula spread easily and immediately melted away pigmented and waterproof makeup. As directed, we added water and watched as the texture emulsified into a gentle milky fluid. After rinsing and patting dry, our skin was pleasantly clean but not squeaky or stripped. We could feel the conditioning agents acting as a protective shield–fortifying the acid mantle so that skin remained plump and hydrated in the face of environmental aggressors. Off to the committee it went.
