Dr. Loretta Ciraldo began her career in skin as a graduate student at Harvard Medical school in the 1970’s, where she contributed to the creation of the Fitzpatrick Skin Type Classification and was among the first to realize the harmful effects of UVA and UVB rays on skin. This experience sparked her interest in how and why the skin ages, and how that aging could be prevented. With over 40 years as a practicing dermatologist, Dr. Loretta brings an intimate knowledge of skin to the creation of her line, which she developed to fortify skin against external factors of pollution, light, climate, and irritants that are responsible for much of the visible effects of aging.
