Susanne Kaufmann was born and raised in the Bregenz Forest in a pristine nook of the Austrian Alps. When she inherited the hotel and spa her family had run for five generations, she realized she had an opportunity to work with the bounty of botanicals in her own Alpine backyard. In 2003, working with a team of pharmacists and dermatologists, she launched her eponymous line of healing “organic treats.” Kaufmann says, “In the Alps, people have always done their own creams and oils, we’re just putting this traditional knowledge to modern use.” Using a holistic, minimalistic approach, the range utilizes herb and plant remedies in powerful, results-oriented skin and body care. Each batch is produced and packaged by hand in the company’s own facility.
