EXFOLIATE: To ensure your tan turns out even and streak-free, first you’ll need to slough off any dry winter skin (think of it as prepping the canvas). In the shower, squeeze a quarter-sized amount of exfoliator into your palm and apply onto leg in broad, circular strokes. Repeat with other leg. When exiting the shower, take care not to dry off completely.

HYDRATE: Lock in residual moisture. Pay special attention to areas prone to dryness like the knees, ankles and the edges of your heels. If not adequately hydrated, they can over-absorb the tanning formula and look dark and blotchy.
