Holy Curls Founder, Badria Ahmed, was born in Somalia to Somali and Yemeni parents, and raised in Sweden. Without products to properly nuture her Afro curls, Ahmed grew up dislking them, and chemically straightened her hair for years. Inspired by her experience, Ahmed set out to learn more about her hair type and how to care for it. This led her to Africa, where she learned about naturally moisturizing and protecting ingredients from local communities. Ahmed brought these discoveries with her to London, where she founded Holy Curls, a holistic brand that aims to help people become one with their bodies and their hair.
